When learning stalls, the starting move may be wrong—not your ability

Some people need an example before they start. Others need the principle before the example. That is not an intelligence score.

The same explanation leaves some people stuck after the definition, sends others straight into a worked example, and frustrates people who wanted the main line before any demo. That is usually an entry order, not a rank of intelligence.

People who need an example stall when there is no finished sample. People who need a principle resist a stack of steps with no why. Knowing which you are lets you reorder the material instead of deciding you cannot learn it.

Practicing alone and learning with others are settings, not an extraversion score. Some people remember by quiet repetition. Others see the holes only when they explain it. The wrong setting gets misread as an ability problem.

One small experiment is enough. If you need an example, do one complete sample today and write why it works. If you need a principle, write that one line, then do the smallest example the same day. Do not wait until you understand everything.
